The three children each represent a different facet of society. Seated side-by-side, they are connected by a red ribbon that playfully winds around them. However, there is nothing joyful when it comes to child slavery or exploitation. The girl in white, could possibly be from a well-off family but her privilege does not protect her. In comparison, the boy and other girl could be from less fortunate backgrounds coerced into trafficking due to their poverty. Bound by Fate compels the viewer to connect with their own childhood and commit to protecting innocence.
